National Genetics Institute (NGI) provides nucleic acid assays for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis A, B, and C viruses (HAV, HBV, and HCV) and other infectious agents. NGI is licensed as a clinical laboratory provider by both state and federal agencies, is CLIA approved, and participates in a number of approved quality control programs.
